The Brother needs a tech makeover because…
My brother and his wife (of six months) were recently devastated by Hurricane Ike. In the rush to get their home boarded (as well as mine) prior to the sudden mandatory evacuation, they only took the back up data for their 3 computers. Those computers were ruined when 4.5 feet of water and sewage entered their home. My brother is a high school teacher who is trying to complete his Masters degree online. His wife is currently trying to finish her PhD dissertation. Meanwhile, they’re waiting to see if they will be required to tear down their home due to new rules. If anyone needs this, it’s them.
These guys could really use the a tech makeover! It would be nice to see something good happen to them after this nightmare.

Candice left out how this is her older brother that has always been there for her, especially since they lost both their parents at a pretty young age. He is an amazing man.

Ambitious, good, young people deserve reinforcement.
I married into this family 23 years ago and spent many Christmas and/or Thanksgiving dinners with Matthew and his siter Candice (along with their mother). I can tell you first hand that this young man has never stopped amazing us all with what he has become.
He is now a good husband, and I know he will be a good father one day as well. Whatever the outcome in the NEAR future, this will be looked upon as a mear a bump in the road in the DISTANT future.
It is people like this young aspiring couple who need help at times like these. They are most deserved of a Tech Make-over.

I saw the pictures of The Brother and His Wife’s house. Truly shocking, devastating, and heart breaking. Just one day before you guys were making the quick decisions of “what to take and what to leave behind,” I was doing the same down here, but with much more time to prepare. I cannot imagine coming home to a home that is not the home you had to leave, having to salvage what you can of those items that simply cannot be replaced, and then waiting for someone else to determine what your future holds while the rest of your life still has to go on some how. You have my vote and if I could vote 1,000 times more, I would! I hope you guys get this; you two deserve it!!!!

Anyone who is a high school teacher deserves it to begin with, but especially with the devestation caused by Ike. My vote goes for these two wonderful young people.
Nicole was doing a great job bringing Matt into the computer age, and then Ike took it all away. Vote for Nicole and Matt.
I don’t know this couple, but my heart goes out to them! Definitely give this sweet couple something to smile about and “tech” them out!!
Matt has put his whole heart into educating students and encouraging them to strive for high goals. His perserverance in education shows his desire to continue to personally strive for high goals. Your help will make this come to a reality. My vote goes to Matt and Nichole.!!
